Why do I now need a username and password?

With AggFlow DM we have created a system that allows customer to manage and make changes to their license online. In order to do this, you must have an account and it was necessary to bring this functionality to users of the previous version of AggFlow. 

What can the username be?

Your email is your username. After you have created your account you will be sent an email to verify your email address. If you do not receive this within a few minutes, try checking your "Junk" or "Spam" folder. 

Where is the username and password stored?

The username and password is managed from the AggFlow website and it is copied to the USB key during the online account creation. Then the USB program can be used offline with the same username and password.

What happens if I forget my password?

When you start the USB program with the key inserted, there is a button called Forgot Password. Clicking this will take you to the AggFlow Website to reset your password. Once your password is reset, you can use it to start the program. You must be online the first time you run AggFlow with the new password. After that you can work offline as before. 

Is the USB program regularly updated?

The USB program is no longer being updated with new features and equipment, but it is still being supported in response to error reports. AggFlow has released AggFlow DM and all improvements and new equipment additions are only in the AggFlow DM program.

Can projects created with the USB program be opened in AggFlow DM?

Any project created in a previous version of AggFlow can be opened in AggFlow DM using the menu options or by dragging and dropping the file onto the DM control panel.

Can projects created in AggFlow DM be opened in the USB program?

Simulations created in AggFlow DM cannot be opened in the USB program. AggFlow DM includes new equipment and features not available in the USB program. 

Can multiple projects created in previous versions be transferred to AggFlow DM?

Multiple AggFlow files on your computer can be dragged and dropped onto the control panel at the same time. Then individual projects will be created for each file on the control panel with a revision that can be opened in the worksheet.

Will the USB program continue to work without an Internet connection?

Yes, the USB program will continue to work without an internet connection once the username and password is copied to the key. Internet access is only required to create your user account and password, to reset your password or to check the license status.

Does the USB program require a USB key inserted in the computer to work?

Yes, the USB program will continue to require the USB key. The login and password will be checked with the USB key to ensure that the license is valid with the login. 

If I upgrade to AggFlow DM, will I be licensed?

If you are using the USB program your license already gives the ability to use AggFlow DM. You can start using it at any time.

Do I need separate usernames and passwords for the USB program and AggFlow DM?

The same username and password is used for either program.

Can I run both programs at the same time?

Yes, but beware that files created with AggFlow DM are not backwards compatible. 

Can I run the programs on multiple computers?

The license agreement allows a single user to work on up to 2 computers, being a work computer and a secondary travel computer.

Can I share my key with other users?

No. The license agreement allows one user per design license. 

Is a license required to use the program?

The USB program requires a license for each user to use the program. AggFlow DM requires an individual license to edit simulations, but it can be downloaded and used without a license for Read Only use for shared DM projects or imported AGZ file types.

Will the USB program worksheets continue to work like it use to?

Yes, the only change is that a username and password is required to start the program.
